Ward admission is when a patient must stay in a healthcare facility for further observation, treatment, or recovery.
Patients may be admitted for various reasons, such as severe illnesses, recovery from surgery, monitoring of critical conditions, or when a treatment plan requires continuous supervision.
Admission ensures that the patient receives specialized care and attention from medical professionals in a safe, controlled environment.
Admission to the Mini-Campus Health Centre
We provide inpatient admission services at our Mini Campus Health Centre.
The facility includes two wards: one for male and another for female patients, ensuring that patients requiring overnight medical care receive the necessary attention and monitoring.
Patients from the Main Campus Health Centre needing admission are transferred to the Mini Campus Health Centre, at the end of the workday, for continued care.

Visiting Hours
To maintain a conducive healing environment, visiting hours are regulated.
Friends and family may visit during the following hours:
Weekdays: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Weekends: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Visitors should adhere to these times, keep their visits brief, and respect other patients in the ward by limiting noise and distractions.
Guidelines for Friends and Relatives
Visiting a loved one in the hospital is a kind and supportive gesture, but it’s important to follow proper guidelines to ensure the well-being and privacy of all patients.
We have established the following clear guidelines for visitors on how to behave when visiting a patient to create a healing and respectful environment.
1. Respect Visiting Hours
Visits are limited to specific times to ensure patients get adequate rest and recovery time.
Always adhere to the designated visiting hours to avoid disrupting patient care or other hospital routines.
2. Limit Noise and Distractions
Hospitals are places for rest and recovery, so it’s essential to keep conversations quiet and calm.
Avoid loud talking, unnecessary noise, or bringing in distracting items such as music players or phones on loudspeakers.
3. Limit the Number of Visitors
To avoid overcrowding and ensure the patient has enough rest, we advise limiting the number of visitors at a time.
This also helps the healthcare team move freely and attend to the needs of all patients efficiently.
4. Maintain Cleanliness
Visitors should keep the patient’s area clean and tidy.
Avoid bringing in food or drinks unless permitted by the healthcare staff, and dispose of any trash appropriately.
5. Respect Patient Privacy
Always respect the privacy of other patients in the ward.
Never enter the female or male wards uninvited.
If visiting a female patient, male visitors must ensure they seek permission before entering the female ward, and vice versa.
Barging into any ward uninvited is not only disrespectful but may also violate patient privacy and security.
6. No Pictures of Patients Allowed
For privacy and confidentiality reasons, taking photos or videos of patients is strictly prohibited.
This policy protects the dignity and personal privacy of all patients.
Respect their space and focus on providing support without infringing on their rights.
7. Be Considerate of the Patient’s Condition
Patients may be tired, in pain, or undergoing treatment. Limit your visit if the patient appears exhausted or needs rest.
Always be mindful of their condition and allow them the space they need for recovery.
8. Follow Hospital Instructions
Visitors must follow any specific instructions given by the healthcare staff regarding interactions with patients, hygiene protocols, or other guidelines.
This helps to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
9. Do Not Bring Children Without Permission
Hospital environments are not always suitable for children, especially young ones who may not understand the need for quiet and calm.
Before bringing children, check with the healthcare staff if it is appropriate for them to visit the patient.
