The Directorate of Health Services (DHS) is the dedicated arm of Olabisi Onabanjo University tasked with managing and delivering healthcare services across the university community.
As part of the university’s directorate system, the DHS ensures the well-being of students, staff, and indigenes through a range of medical services, including consultations, laboratory diagnostics, radiography, pharmacy, and health information management.

The Directorate provides basic and some specialised medical services. For highly specialised care, referrals may be made to other facilities.

Following medical registration with us at the Main Campus health centre, patients are offered a clinic card (pink card). They can have access to a sick note, sick leave, or medical report as appropriate. Graduates who are in need of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) medical fitness certification can also obtain the certification with us, as well as law graduates in need of law school medical fitness certification.
Medical documents can be obtained from the health centre after a consultation with one of the doctors. You can get a sick note or sick leave immediately after a consultation. A medical report takes a few working days to be processed. The process of medical fitness certification for NYSC and law school can be completed in a day or two.
